iPod Operation in a 2007 Lincoln Navigator

iPod operation using the PXAMG. This demonstration is in a 2007 Navigator but this operation will cover all 2006-select 2009 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury vehicles equipped with this double din navigation radio.

This is demonstration of adding ipod and auxiliary audio input in the 2005 the 2008 and select 2009 ford lincoln mercury vehicles equipped with this type of navigation radio first thing we’re going to cover is how you access your different modes how you access your factory satellite which we do retain and they’re going to go into the ipod control so you’ve ants

Controls basic controls then we’re going to show you the aux input first we’re going to do is go to the ipod mode you do that by pressing the s r button see we do retain the factory satellite tuner we’re going to go through a different mode by pressing this sr button no audio or four options that aren’t currently installed on the interface and we’re going to see

Ipod curl this and the ipod your ipod controls there’s your text tune-up is track up tune down this track back the f/w button here is fast forward when you press and hold it fast forwards press and hold rewind is going to do rewind tm e is going to change the time the text or the text of time this usually random song random album ran them off steering wheel controls

Give you track forward and track back using the left and right arrow buttons that’s going to be the basic ipod controls then we’re going to cover the advanced ipod control so advanced ipod controls give you the ability of browsing your ipod or iphone in this case by playlist album artist track your honor composer to do that press in then use the tune button like

I said you can browse by playlist artist album track genre and composer we’re going to go browse by playlist press in to select your playlist go ahead and choose your playlist if any time you want to back out one menu step it out we’ll go back and choose a different playlist then select the track from that playlist and that covers your advanced and basic ipod

Control to gain your auxiliary audio input keep pressing this sr button this case you can see auxilary one in this case we have the ipod hooked up port one of the interface so go on the auxilary one is going to give you direct access to your ipod or iphone so you can manually select the music but you will no longer be able to get text on the radio or be able to

Browse from the radio hit one more time we’re going to go aux – we don’t have anything hooked up to that at that point we have this plugged into the interface it gives you the eighth inch and the line level audio inputs so you can hook up any generic audio input device portable mp3 players or portable dvd players i’m just going to go back to factory satellite that’s
