HOW TO REMOVE A PASSANGER DOOR HANDLE ON A 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 CHEVY EXPRESS
First what you want to do is remove this cover so you have access then you take some flat head screwdriver pop these up out then you grab a 10 millimeter an extension for this one you don’t need extension for this one you do so what you have is this plastic yellow one piece right there you just pull on it it’s usually like this and you just pull on it pulling
It this way you try to this way and it just pulls and that thing comes off and then the other one what you do it’s in there inside that orange piece you just pull it towards you this way this way pull it this way the other with the hands just just be careful but it should come off like i said plastic this plastic cover usually just pops this way pops this way
And the metal piece the second one you’re just pulling it this way i’ll show you in a minute mine’s off right now but there’s more steps to it after that when you do that i already took mine off but like i said there’s a plastic cover on this one you just turn it over right there pull one in and that comes off but this one it’s just inside you just take two
Or three fingers just or with something and pull on it and it comes off and then there’ll be more steps once you take those off inside like i said you pry in this it’s just carefully and this gets loose and this is still stuck as you can tell you might have an issue what i did is grab like either flat head screwdriver or two like this and you see there’s that
Metal bracket i keep pushing it this way more inside so it comes off just be careful you don’t break anything okay i’m gonna demonstrate for you guys usually i had a problem with taking this off from the door so this metal bracket is stuck in there and won’t let you out it won’t let the whole thing out so how i did it i don’t know if that’ll explain see how
This piece goes inside here and it catches everywhere catches on here and here and it’s kind of hard to take it off and this usually is like this and then what i managed to do is press from screwdriver from this side got this and then shake it and somehow i got this out this way however you’re gonna get it out make sure you don’t destroy anything and once this
Off this clip you can drop down and then you can take it off but this is the one that’s kind of stuck in there you have to kind of wiggle it move this around around maybe in screwdriver and pull this out somehow this way so this is free then you’ll be able to take it off hopefully that that explains that’s the best i can do because it was kind of hard to record
And do at the same time because it took some time and yeah like i said it wasn’t that easy but it’s doable i took off the old one from the different door and then i took this newer one from this door because this door is damaged so i’ll be putting this on on my van so yeah thank you for watching please consider subscribing if you’re not subscribed yet i’ll be
