Genesis GV80 and G80 are the first in the world to feature steering wheel controls as part of their standard package. Genesis partnered with Mercedes to add steering wheel controls to their products. The steering wheel on your genesis is designed to provide you with the ability to control many features on your vehicle the audio controls allow you to control the volume as well as the track or station you are listening to turning up or down on the volume button will increase or decrease volume pressing the button in the center will mute the volume pressing

It again will unmute the volume the seek track button works differently depending on the audio source and the way it is pressed if you are listening to fm am radio toggling the button down or up selects the next or previous preset station respectively toggling and holding the button for a second then releasing will cause it to search for stations if you are

Listening to sirius xm radio toggling the button down or up selects the next or previous preset sirius xm station pressing and holding the button will allow you to scan to the previous or next channel relative to the current channel if you are listening to digital media pressing the button down or up selects the next or previous track file or chapter depending

On your genesis two smartphones can be simultaneously connected making it possible to make or receive calls using one of the connected phones and also listen to music from either phone as a music source this feature is easy to set up first you must pair two devices to your vehicle cd pairing your bluetooth device video or your owner’s manual for instructions

Remember that you can only add new bluetooth devices when no device is currently connected once two devices are connected you can switch between them in one of two ways select phone then menu then change device press the desired bluetooth device on the pop-up to change for audio streaming or hands-free calling when listening to streaming audio via bluetooth

You can also change devices on the playing screen select the multi-connection icon then choose the desired bluetooth device for audio playback and you can always quickly and easily switch devices back using these steps your genesis provides a valet mode feature while on it allows you to see the distance driven elapsed time and highest speed attained it also

Locks the driver out of personal information stored in navigation and other electronic systems to use valet mode you must have an active genesis connected services account you must also have the genesis intelligent assistant installed on your smartphone and connected to an account to turn on valet mode select it from the home screen enter a four-digit passcode

That you can easily remember enter the passcode a second time you will see a summary of the vehicle information on the right side of the screen now you will be able to see the vehicle information via the smartphone app you can turn off valet mode in one of two ways enter the previous passcode on the valet mode screen or you can also turn valet mode off on
