Welcome to another beautiful day here at mills motors located at 240 bond street east in oshawa today we’re looking at the awesome 2016 canyon sle four-wheel drive extended cab with the all-terrain package shown here in the very nice cyber gray metallic under the hood it’s rocking the 3.6 liter dock direct injected v6 engine with the six-speed automatic transmission
Taking a look at the inside of the truck the upholstery is a mixture between cloth and leather and down here are the controls for the 4-way power adjustable driver seat including lumbar support on the inside of the driver’s side door there is quite a bit of storage and up top here are the powered windows and the powered mirrors and right there are the powered
Lock and unlock and getting into the truck is made simple and easy thanks to these matte black sport assist steps here there we go so starting on the left is the exterior lights and the four wheel drive selection indicators behind the left hand side of the steering wheel and on the left hand side here are our all the cruise control buttons and on the back here
Are these two buttons which are for changing through the favorites of the radio and over here on the right hand side are the two hands-free and bluetooth buttons as well as all of these buttons here that help you navigate your way through that driver digital screen and behind that are the wipers on the back of the steering wheel is in demonstration mode on the
Back of the steering wheel are these two buttons here which are for changing the volume of the radio and now looking at the center touch screen the truck comes with the am fm and xm radios as well as you can connect your phone to it that projection icon means that it is car apple play as well as android auto friendly it also comes with onstar navigation so if you
Go up here to the rear view mirror and you click that middle blue button right there you will be connected to onstart and they can help you out with any situation that you are in including pinpointing a destination for you here on the screen there are also some settings text message settings and some onstar settings to go through beneath this screen are the radio
Controls so volume on the left changing of the stations on the right the radio button will switch between the am fm and xm radios and the media button will switch between any usb import auxiliary import or any bluetooth devices that are connected beneath the radio controls are the aircon controls which does include front and rear defrost fan speed here on the left
Temperature on the right it also comes with heated driver and heated passenger seats which is quite nice for those cooler months and now looking at all these buttons here on this left this button is your trailering assist button traction control hazards this button here will turn on some lights to the exterior truck bed as well as the hill descent button and below
All of that there is a decent amount of storage here a handy usb port an auxiliary import and on that side there is the auxiliary power outlet in between the seats there are two cupholders some more storage as well as this arm rest here and if we lift that up here on the inside there is quite a bit of storage as well as a handy usb port and now to the passenger
Side there is a nice big glove box here which offers a decent amount of room and space and on the passenger side door there is the powered windows and up top there are the powered lock and unlock have a look at those gorgeous 17 inch dark argent metallic aluminum wheels that look very nice and as we make our way over to the rear of the vehicle on the corner here
There is this corner assist step which is quite handy for getting in and out of the truck bed and underneath the handle here is the colored backup camera that does show up for you on the inside of the vehicle on the center screen which is quite useful for when backing the truck up it also comes with the easy lift and lower tailgate system which means when i pull
On the handle tailgate will open nice and slowly all on its own once it is fully open back here you can see there is quite a lot of room as well as some hooks lined along the left and right hand side which is perfect for tying down any loose items but if you do have any loose items rattling around back here you do not need to worry about them scuffing up the paint
Or even causing minor body damage because there is this nice spray on box bed liner which will help keep everything nice and protected there are also these nice gear on bars here which are very handy for if you do need to tie down some items as well as just keeping some items nice and separated you can certainly now do so thanks to these bars and those uh white
Slash clear lights up there those lights do turn on by a flick of the button on the inside of the truck which will help light up this whole area when you’re on a darker space making it nice and convenient for when you are trying to grab something now closing the tailgate is again made simple and easy thanks to that easy lift and lower tailgate system all right so
Now we are going to be taking a look at the back seats but because it is an extended cab i thought i’d show you how exactly you do open this side door here so first of all this uh passenger door and same with the driver’s side door does have to be open and then there is this handle right here just pull that back and the door will swing open and on the inside
Here there is some storage and now we are taking a look at these seats here there’s also some storage that you can lift up so you have to do is pull up on this handle kind of trick with one hand but i’m gonna pull back on the handle lift up and there you go uh there’s some storage underneath either seat there and you do have to pull the handle to close it so again
Country with one hand but there you go and i’m gonna try my best to fit back here but behind the passenger seat there is some storage and behind this middle console there are not one but two usb ports and a handy auxiliary power outlet which does mean that if you’re sitting back here you do have lots of options to charge some of the mobile devices and in between
The seats there is some storage and two cupholders and as well as that back here there is a nice sliding rear window which you can open up and let in some of that fresh air to help cool everything down what an all-around great vehicle folks and i can’t believe i’m saying this but it does get better because it is also equipped with the safety and connectivity of
